Reconstructed Gate at the Dib Bahir School

During the Tigray War in Ethiopia in 2021, the fence/wall around the school in Dib Bahir was partially destroyed. The lack of a barrier allowed farm animals to wander and feed on school grounds. In May 2023, at the request of the Dib Bahir community, SFI funded the replacement of the wall and gate. As with past projects, the effort was managed by Shiferaw Asrat, CEO of Limalimo Lodge, and Dejen Gesti. The project was successfully completed in February 2024.
